Intended to be taken 3 weeks on, 1 week off (or adjusted to the woman's personal cycle, taking a break during menses).

Ingredients: Shatavari, Raspberry leaf, Schizandra berry, Chaste Berry, Red Clover, Maca, Gingko, Nettle and Damiana

Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic Medicine to support the female reproductive system. It is an adaptogenic herb, able to help the body cope with physical and emotional stress. This herb can increase breast milk production and nourish the ovum. Shatavari has traditionally been used in Ayurveda to strengthen female fertility and can also be used during pregnancy to provide nourishment to both the mother and fetus. It has also been known to help stabilize a woman’s body and emotions throughout her moon or menstrual cycle.

Raspberry Leaf (Rubus idaeus) tea has been consumed by pregnant women in traditional medicine for centuries. It is rich in magnesium, calcium, antioxidants and potassium. Studies have shown that it can lower blood pressure and prevent the risk of stroke. Red Raspberry leaf extract has been used to treat morning sickness in pregnant women, provide relief from diarrhea, leg cramps, canker sores, cold sores and gingivitis. Most importantly though, it helps the uterus relax.

Chaste Berry (Vitex agnus-castus) has been used to improve symptoms associated with PMS, such as anxiety, breast pain, mood swings, and headaches. Research has suggested that by decreasing prolactin release, chaste berry helps to balance other hormones, such as estrogen and progesterone. This is thought to balance the hormonal swings that may be experienced throughout the female cycle.

Red Clover (Trifolium pratense) contains phytoestrogens. It has been used in folk medicine for a variety of conditions such as menopause, weak and brittle bones, breast pain and hair loss. Studies have shown that it also improves cardiovascular health and lowers the bone density loss of menopausal women. Red Clover’s estrogen-like properties exert a positive effect on the arterial walls, making them more flexible, thus easing any strain on the heart and making it harder for blood clots to form.

Maca (Lepidium meyeni) is a root vegetable native to the Andes region of Peru. Maca is known to act in the body as an anti-depressant, increasing stamina and libido. It is a strong anti-oxidant and has shown to remove carcinogens from the body and reduce the rate of tumour growth. It is especially noted to improve mood, memory and energy levels.

Gingko (Gingko biloba) is believed to be one of the oldest living trees on earth today, dating back 200 million years. It has been extensively studied and used as a supplement to support neurological function. It improves memory, focus, stabilizes mood and is a natural source of energy. It is used for ailments such as dementia, hearing loss and PMS. It has been studied as an anti-depressant, used for treating vertigo and helps lower blood pressure.

Stringing Nettle (Urticaria doica) is touted for being one of the most powerful blood builders and blood purifiers in herbal medicine. Extremely rich in iron- women use Nettle to rebuild blood from heavy menses and labour. Studies have shown that Nettle can help ameliorate symptoms of arthritis, gout and general inflammation. It is also used to treat allergies and manage diabetes.

Damiana (Turnera diffusa) has an ancient, erotic reputation, particularly amongst Indigenous Mexicans. Damiana leaves were not only prescribed as an aphrodisiac, but also as a tonic for overall health. It is a known sexual tonic for both men and women, increasing circulation to the genitals and heightening libido. Damiana has also been used to treat depression, anxiety and reduce the effects of stress on the body. It is said to bring back 'passion and zest' to life!

Taking this blend may result in a sense of stabilized mood, empowerment and a deepened connection to the divine Feminine nature.
